Daniel's almost 3 months old now!

Daniel recently had a doctor's appointment in which he had seven immunizations and got a clean bill of health. He now weighs 14 lbs 6 oz. (exactly twice his birth weight), which is apparently average growth. A lot of his weight is in his head, though, which is 41 cm. around!
He's drooling like crazy now and trying to put things (usually hands and hair) into his mouth. He has quite a grip too! He coos a lot, laughs and smiles, and makes other noises with varying degrees of cuteness. When he's sad, he's started to make a pouty face - he pokes his lower lip out and scunches his eyebrows together. This sad look is made even more pathetic by red-rimmed eyes and sometimes some tears :-(
He's doing well at night - only one feeding and that's usually near morning time. Matt's on the 3:30 to midnight schedule for another couple of weeks and I'm not sure how it's going to be for him to make the transition to a normal daytime schedule again. I'm sure that it will be hard for all of us for a while.
We finally found where Daniel's going to go for daycare. It's very close by so Matt or I can drop him off in the morning and we can easily check on him if we need to. It makes me even more excited to go back to school knowing that we won't have to worry about daycare when the time comes.
Nothing else new for now! Still trying to find free time when I can to do things around the house, take care of myself and keep in touch with other people. I'm really excited about the holidays coming up. A first for little Daniel!
